Wanamaker + Spencer

There is so much more to this story, but in short — In November 2019, about 12 hours before Besty’s wedding day, we got the call that a close family member was in the hospital. The wedding was canceled. Chris the groom called me on what would have been his wedding day, and said that with everything going on he still wanted Betsy to have something special, so I grabbed my gear and headed out to their family home on the river for a photo session. It was breathtaking and sad, but I was able to get a glimpse into the love and support this family gives to each other. Fast forward to the weekend of February 1st, 2020 in Palm Springs, California. Close family and friends made their way out to the incredibly beautiful Joshua Tree National Park, and it was a wedding weekend for the books! With a fully recovered family member, and love and beauty all around them, Betsy and Chris spoke their vows and promises to each other. I am so grateful to have been allowed to document this incredible weekend with these lovely humans.
